KeywordLuv is a great plugin to reward your commentators by separating their name from their keywords in the link to their website, giving them improved anchor text. If they enter “Stephen@Custom WordPress Plugins” in the Name field, their comment will have:

Why Is Anchor Text Important?
There are many articles about the value of having your keywords in the anchor text of backlinks to your site. This helps your site rank well for those keywords with the search engines, bringing you more traffic.
One source of backlinks are comments on DoFollow blogs, but the anchor text is normally your name. While this helps you rank well for your name, it’s practically worthless for your keywords. That’s why some commentators put keywords in the name field, but they risk being marked as spammers.
I understand people’s desire to get the best value from their link, but I’m tired of answering comments with “Hi Miami Hotels”. I’d like them to leave their name, without it effecting their keyword benefit. Enter KeywordLuv…
By using KeywordLuv (and a Dofollow plugin) you give your commentators better links, rewarding them and encouraging more people to comment.

For your commentators to benefit from KeywordLuv, your blog requires a separate Dofollow plugin to remove the nofollow tag. KeywordLuv does not do this and without it, your commentators will not receive any benefit.
While KeywordLuv could remove the nofollow tag, there are many existing plugins that do this AND provide advanced features I don’t want to replicate.

Being an ardent fan of the do follow movement, I wholeheartedly appreciate fellow webmaster’s decision to enable such remarkable plugins for the benefit of blog visitors. This will be a win-win situation for the blog owner by attracting visitors and luring them to make relevant comments and for the visitor to think and act wisely to get a backlink. I’m just learning about keywordluv and commentluv. I do not think I can use them on my blog because it is a blogspot blog but I have removed nofollow. Seems to be the best that I can do at the moment.

Too bad there are so many morons hat think that spamming blog coments is a “real” link building campaign – you have to be prepared to do a lot of moderating if you install it.

I believe the anchor text is very important. And thus the KeywordLuv plugin is a great invention. However it may be necessary to put in more rules on blogs to avoid spamming, rules such as “write more than 50 words” or “only relevant content”.

It’s great to get traffic also. But don’t forget to moderate comments before they are seen by google. There are a lots of guys working 24 hours to post some drug and pills ads in your websites.
I am giving this suggestion because I got my website deindexed by Google because of auto approving thos Pill advetisement.

Building a webpage can be so very difficult,

Encouraging more comments is a good thing if you focus on the social value of your blog…i.e. if you want to be an A list blogger…but for SEO sorts it doesn’t really make a difference. Still it’s nice to offer those leaving comments a reward.

Great blog post on the CommentLuv plug-in and why it can be a great addition for blogs. Link building is definitely a huge part of building up your blog online, and I’m personally of the opinion that Google tends to show a little bit more favor to blogs that have comments and conversations going on.
